The Messages section is the communication place for parents and the care staff of their child(ren). Messages from the group staff can be found in the Messages section. You will find an overview of all message exchanges here.

When a new message arrives, you will see a notification bullet on the message icon at the bottom of the screen showing a number. This number indicates how many new messages have arrived.

Reading messages
A message can be read in full by tapping on it. The entire message exchange is then displayed. It is immediately clear which child and/or which group the message is about, and on which date and time the message was received and/or sent.

Respond
When viewing an individual message, you have the option to respond. A message can be typed at the bottom of the screen. The send button (circle with triangle) sends the message to the group.

Sending a message to the group
Sending a message to the group can be done in two ways.
First, you can use the quick function button ‘send message’ on the My child page.
You can also do it on the menu page ‘Messages’ by clicking on the pen icon in the bottom right corner.

Don't see this option? Then your childcare organization has chosen not to offer this feature to parents.
